In a developing country like India, sustainable development and inclusive growth is of paramount importance. State Governments are putting in their best efforts for the sustainable development and inclusive growth of the people. States could greatly benefit from collaboration and support from the private sector for an even greater impact.

Sustainability is becoming a major goal for a State and businesses alike, one that matters beyond individual companies. As expectations on corporate responsibility increase, and as transparency becomes more prevalent, businesses, across all industries, are recognizing the need to act on sustainability.

Governments as well as companies are now cognizant of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are increasing working towards setting sustainability targets to meet the SDGs.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can play a major role in sustainable development. While Corporates are aware of the importance of CSR and are making strong commitments to sustainability, they are not always aware of the right kind of CSR activities or even the locations or focus areas where their efforts can yield the greatest positive impact in the lives of the people.

CSL believe that sustainable development will get a major fillip with a collaborative approach where corporate CSR actions are aligned with government initiatives for meeting SDG targets.

We help drive, accelerate, deepen and broaden collaborations for efficient CSR practices and sustainability initiatives by private sectors and institutions and multi-stakeholder initiatives for business growth and social development.

We help firms develop proactive sustainability strategies and help align their business model with CSR by bridging their knowledge and implementation gap.

CSL-Sajhedari

CSL has pioneered a collaborative sustainability model called SAJHEDARI which bridges the gap between the stakeholders – government, corporate, by bringing them together on a common platform.
